Rev. Dr. T. C. Thomas & his wife Aleyamma (“Aley”) founded International Bible Church in 1997 after their family experienced the miraculous healing of their eldest daughter Lisa from a surprise diagnosis of ovarian cancer in 1992. Despite numerous surgeries, failing health, and grim doctor’s reports, the family triumphed over a season of suffering and pain to proclaim the days of miracles are not over but can be experienced even today.
Lisa’s healing, and the lessons learned in the process, have caused the Thomas family to experientially proclaim, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8). Continuing to stand on His word, Lisa is a living witness of the miracles of God. The pastor and the family Share the vision and desire to minister compassion and love to the suffering and the afflicted.
Pastor Thomas was born in Kerala, India. At the age of seventeen, he felt called into the ministry and left home for theological studies at the South India Biblical Seminary in Bangarapet, India. After completing a four-year degree program, (Graduate in Theology), he came to the United States for further studies in 1969. He earned his B.A. degree, with a major in Biblical Studies, and a minor in English from Mid-America Christian University; his Master’s degree with a major in Theology from Luther Rice Seminary and his Ph.D. in Biblical Studies from Central Christian University. In addition to serving in the ministry, he spent over thirty-two years as a designer in the petrochemical and nuclear power plant design.
Each week, Pastor Thomas shares a message of encouragement, hope, and deliverance. He believes and teaches that the days of miracles are not over but you can experience one in your own life even today because he has seen the hand of God moving so strongly in his own life and that of his family. The Word of God is sufficient and powerful enough to transform lives, communities, and nations. We are excited about God and what He is doing today in our church.
